Biosketch

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Oceanology and Geosciences (LOG, CNRS UMR 8187) situated in the North of France (Wimereux).

I got my PhD "Global change impacts on southern Mediterranean exploited assemblages, application to the Gulf of Gabes (Tunisia): from niche modelling to trophic consequences” in April 2014 in Montpellier, France.

My research is focused on spatial ecology with a special emphasis on the application of macroecological and spatial ecology concepts to marine ecosystems. I am interested in the key factors that shape marine communities; more specifically the trophic interactions and species-environment relationships and the resulting changes to these communities from human impacts (e.g. fishing, habitat alteration, and climate change).
